INFO WRITERS F ood has an important role for our health, bringing the “fuel” that our body needs to function properly. We can find a con- nection between “what you eat and what you are”. The body must receive daily all the nutrients to be balanced and for energy. The inner health influences the exterior and the individual’s actions. A healthy, balanced and varied eating gives us a good vibe, optimism and it is associated with a strong, energetic body, resistant to physical and intel- lectual efforts. Healthy eating For our daily eating we have to include in our diet high nutritional foods (proteins, vitamins, minerals, fibres) such as vegetables, fruits, milk. Vegetables are important sources of vita- mins and fibres, and some of them (potatoes, beans, len- tils) have important quanti- ties of carbohydrates. It is necessary to eat foods that contain food starch from grains, potatoes and also food that have calcium (milk, cheese).
