Voters in Anoka-Hennepin communities will have the opportunity to weigh in on three questions on the ballot , Nov . 2 , considering a renewal of two levies for learning and investing in support for all students .
Referendum 2021 was proposed after planning and research obtained from two community surveys over the past year to inform the needs of students in the district . By asking the community to weigh in now , the school district may be able to avoid cutting resources beginning in the summer of 2022 if the community decides that the questions on the ballot are still priorities in the school system .
Strength and stability in our schools increases the likelihood that students in our communities are successful and supported . When schools are strong , the community is strong , too . The referendum aims to ensure success , stability and support for every student .
