Dugraf and Dantex have teamed up to bring equipment for digital printing of labels and self-adhesive labels . The equipment has high-resolution UV inkjet for small and medium volumes , RIP software , several options including in-line finishing , models and configurations for small , medium , and large sizes , 4 to 8 colors with an emphasis on Super White and quick media changes .
DuPont
DuPont showcased new developments in DuPont™Cyrel ® plates and equipment for flexography and DuPont™ Artistri ® digital inks for textile , commercial and packaging printing . In the Cyrel ® area , there were four technologies .
· Cyrel ® Lightning , winner of the FTA 2022 Technical Innovation Award , designed to meet the demands of UV-LED exposure , delivers the best relationship between engraving time and plate performance , without compromising on print quality . Until then , exposure adjustments on LED units were either made for high quality or to reduce recording time ; Cyrel ® Lightning plates combine both benefits .
· Cyrel ® EASY R plates , with formulations that maintain the benefits of Cyrel ® EASY flat dot plates , have new attributes that help improve plate handling and print performance , especially in flexible packaging and label and tag applications . The family is made up of photopolymer plates suitable for thermal and solvent processes and comes with a surface that guarantees better performance in various printing conditions .
· Cyrel ® FAST 3000 TD system , solvent-free flexographic plate processors . The system offers productivity and helps reduce costs , processing time and environmental impacts when compared to solvent-based methods . The plate size reaches 50 x 80 inches .
· Cyrel ® DLC / ALC plates developed for printing on recycled cardboard and which overcome the challenges of this type of substrate .
As for DuPont™ Artistri ® digital inks , the novelty was the Brite P5500 line , developed for DTG printers ( direct printing on clothing ). The new set focuses on longer print durability and better coverage efficiency and elasticity . Visitors also saw the Artistri ® Xite P2700 line , pigment ink for digital textile printing , formulated for medium viscosity heads . The beautiful decoration on the stand showed the quality of the paint .
Sustainability was present at the DuPont booth . In partnership with companies such as W & A Sistemas de Pré-Impressão and BO Packaging , DuPont showed the reverse logistics action as part of the Ciclobom program , dedicated to the recycling of post-consumer paper cups . All cups ( printed in flexography using DuPont ' s Cyrel ESXR 067 ( 1.7mm ) plate , with nine fine arts ) used at the booth during the fair were collected and will be recycled and transformed into raw material for the production of new products .
