One of the most important things we ' ve seen here that will be a trend in the coming years is integration software . There is no turning back because if you can make a workflow of your work from the entry of the service to the exit of the integrated service , without having to keep changing platforms , it generates fantastic production speed , and here solutions from several companies that I have sure that they will begin to be incorporated after the fair . We have state-of-the-art equipment that is not yet available in Brazil , which aroused curiosity , even among the offset staff . There is a migration from offset to flexo service and we are seeing it now , at the fair , for real ”.
Kleyton Osadczuk , Process Manager at Parnaplast and Director of Wide Web at ABFLEXO , shared his impressions : “ The fair was very interesting from the point of view of the integration of printing systems . At the fair , it is possible to see the industrial offset , flexography , and digital systems . Currently , this connection , the hybrid printing systems , is taking over the market . Big players have more than one printing system . And this opportunity for professionals in the area to know everything at the same event is a great differential . We walk through the corridors and talk to colleagues from various sectors , and the main thing is to see professionals being able to exchange ideas , talk more about the work of each professional , so this event is very important for that ”.
With the mission of offering a truly complete experience to the visitor , ExpoPrint & ConverExpo promoted a series of free technical conferences , with different themes that embraced not only different markets but also covered different parts of a company ' s processes . The debut was the Flexo Tour , which focused on bringing quality information about the flexo industry and digital conversion . The topics ranged from prepress concepts , such as colors and processes , to conversion tips , equipment , concepts such as private label , the arrival of digital conversion , finishing , and much more .
Transformative solutions
From now on , we are going to talk about what companies took to ExpoPrint & ConverExpo Latin America 2022 especially in the area of packaging in flexography and digital conversion so that you already know what can be in your company now aiming for a more profitable future .
However , we will also show what is different and interesting in packaging with other technologies and highlights from other markets , which at some point may be interesting to converters thinking about the future of the printing industry . Unfortunately , due to the size of the fair , it is not possible to highlight everything , so if something is missing we can show you in the next editions !
Actega
Maurício Rufo , business manager at Actega , takes stock of the fair : “ ExpoPrint & ConverExpo was very good for Actega , it exceeded expectations . From the first day , there was great public participation and the search for the synergy that we are bringing , especially the varnished barriers . Visitors brought this trend of looking for the most sustainable packaging to the paper part , from the paper board . And we have also established our brand more in flexible films for both heat-shrinkable sleeves and in-mold label sleeves , we have been operating very strongly in Europe and are now coming to Brazil ”.
In addition to barrier varnishes , Actega has been working in strong partnership with customers , because with today ' s very new technologies , it is necessary to understand the customer ' s needs well and adapt when necessary . For this , Actega has technology both here in Brazil and in laboratories in Germany , Switzerland and the United States . Thus , Actega ' s focus was on paper and cardboard , but also to show this need for those who work with flexible film to seek alternatives to plastic .
