Inforflexo Magazine enters its 177th edition in a very special way . We have just promoted a historic moment for our printing and converting industry : in April , tens of thousands of professionals gathered in São Paulo for ExpoPrint & ConverExpo Latin America 2022 , a fair that will be marked in the history of the segment .
ConverExpo is organized by ABFLEXO / FTA-Brasil and showed a series of essential items for the flexography and digital conversion industry , with major players presenting equipment and solutions live . It was the time to talk , ask questions , share stories , meet friends and also absorb highquality content within the Flexo Tour , one of the technical initiatives promoted within the fair .
What clearly sets ExpoPrint & ConverExpo apart from everything else on the market today is greatness . By bringing together all segments within the same space , it goes beyond the limits of a niche fair to show all forms of evolution . The entrepreneur glimpsed in each stand and also in the aisles , when talking to the other visitors , how other sectors are doing and even how to adapt certain concepts in their production process . There is nothing like it on the continent with the size and relevance of this fair .
This was the feeling for those who attended the fair , also held by Afeigraf and organized by APS Eventos Corporativos : the unique possibility of seeing all the impressions gathered , all the processes and understanding how to integrate and adapt new visions . This is the case of joining flexography and digital conversion , for example . There is no other initiative like ExpoPrint & ConverExpo in the region that makes the converter see the news in its segment and understand how digital printing has been advancing in quality and reproduction .
In the Cover Story , we talk about what each company linked to our sector took with them , with many images from the fair . Unfortunately , it ' s impossible to say everything about the amount of innovation that was shown , so we ' ve separated what is closest to the converter ' s day-to-day life and also what ' s new from the big players . A tip is to search the social networks and websites of the participating companies and check with your own eyes the success that ExpoPrint & ConverExpo was in the eyes of those who were actually there , participated and had incredible results .
When talking to the exhibitors , it is unanimous : the fair brought results far , far beyond what everyone expected . That ' s why we ' re not afraid to make mistakes : ExpoPrint & ConverExpo 2022 has written its name in the history of the continent ' s printing and converting industry . And the plans for 2026 have already started , including many companies that have already confirmed their participation during this year ' s fair .
This edition has so much more . With each issue , we try to bring a greater variety of topics , in news and articles , so that everyone can be reached , whether it ' s a corrugated board converter , labels or flexible packaging . We are talking about the news of both the FTA and , of course , ABFLEXO / FTA-Brasil .
