EFI has announced its newest ultra-high-speed inkjet solution for the corrugated market , the EFI Nozomi 14000 LED . The printer prints straight to the plate with Nozomi ' s single-pass UV LED inkjet technology with enhancements that bring greater productivity , reliability , value and flexibility to the industrial packaging industry .
The 1.4m wide printer runs at faster speeds of up to 100m / min with new productivity modes , meeting the needs of corrugated packaging manufacturers for more compact production lines . The Nozomi 14000 LED has a robust design for heavy industrial use . It offers packaging converters high uptime , plus the versatility to print almost all types of corrugated media , with enhancements to automatically reject damaged plates without interrupting print production .

Users can choose from a variety of configurations to complement individual needs , with single or dual bottom hopper options , a coater roll capable of applying varying amounts of primer , an optional coat station that allows for different gloss or satin finishes , and complete or package stacker . Available in up to six colors , including white , the EFI Nozomi 14000 LED printer ' s high viscosity inks provide excellent color registration and coverage , and the highspeed , clog-free , high-performance jet printheads deliver unmatched accuracy and color gradients for soft colors .
