Irani launches digital sales platform for sustainable packaging

Embalei is intended for end consumers , small and medium entrepreneurs
Irani Paper e Packaging officially launched its digital packaging sales platform , Embalei . The online store has over 20 products available in the categories boxes , reels , envelopes , bags and sacks , in addition to the Irani Antimicrobial Line . Packaging can be purchased in small quantities , to serve the B2C public ( end consumers ) and small and medium-sized entrepreneurs across the country , to be used both for retail and delivery , as well as for transport and e-commerce .
The demand for sustainable packaging has increased in recent years , becoming evident during the pandemic , when the consumption of products via e-commerce and delivery increased . However , access to these products by end consumers or by small and medium entrepreneurs is still restricted .
The products sold by Embalei are stored in an outsourced space in Taboão da Serra , a metropolitan region of São Paulo , where a multidisciplinary team operates . After the purchase is made , the order separation process and preparation for shipment to consumers is carried out , which takes place in all regions of the country through an efficient and agile logistics system . Embalei can be accessed through this link ( www . embalei . com . br ). On the digital platform it is possible to check all available products , in addition to values and offers , payment and shipping methods .
Packaging of the future

The product , manufactured with recycled raw material , has non-toxic components , which create a protective barrier and inactivate fungi , bacteria and viruses on the surface of the packaging , thus ensuring more hygiene , health and protection to the products that accommodate and also to the people who handle the packaging . The solution also has durability as a differential , since the antimicrobial protection remains active throughout the useful life of the paper and packaging , even if it comes into contact with other substances .
In order to obtain the product , microparticles are inserted into the composition of the paper at the time of its manufacture , thus ensuring that the protection is effective during the entire primary cycle of the product . The coil resulting from the process is sold and the paper , with the compound applied , is converted into corrugated cardboard sheets that can be sold in this way or even converted into boxes . In final products , coils , boxes and sheets , the inactivation of fungi , bacteria and viruses occurs when they come into contact with silver and undergo oxidation , causing the membrane to break and creating a protective barrier on the nanotechnology-based paper itself .
Irani continues to expand its offer of solutions , now with the antimicrobial line , initially applied to the paper used in the production of corrugated cardboard boxes and sheets , now available in paper reels ( BagKraft line ). The objective is to expand the product to companies from different segments and intensify protection against the transmission of fungi , bacteria and viruses .
The antimicrobial line was the first paper packaging with antiviral , antibacterial and antifungal technology in Brazil . Developed by Irani ' s Research and Development area in partnership with Nanox Tecnologia , a company specialized in smart materials , nanotechnology and antimicrobials , its production is concentrated in the company ' s paper and packaging units located in the municipality of Vargem Bonita , in the interior of Santa Catarina .
