ABFLEXO election is open for slates
July 31 is the deadline for registration of slates for the 23 / 24 biennium election
Professionals in the conversion segment who wish to form a slate aiming at the presidency of ABFLEXO / FTA- Brasil in the 2023-2024 biennium must formally register the slate until July 31 , 2022 . After this period , the official disclosure phase of the candidates to the associates , so that the voters know the ideas of the possible elected .
The election takes place on September 21 . The term of the winning slate will begin on the first day of 2023 and end on the last day of 2024 . The elections follow the ABFLEXO Statute , which details that its members must elect a new Executive Board every two years , which will manage the entity in next biennium .
The regulation indicates that the call for the formation of the slates must occur within 180 days before the end of the current term , by means of a Call Notice by the Executive Board ( in force ), sent to members with the right to vote , that is , those who are up to date with their financial contributions to the Association .
Regarding the members eligible to apply , Article 23 of the Statute , on the Administration of Abflexo , says : it will be exercised by the Executive Board , to be composed of the following members : I – President ; II – 1st Vice-President ; III – 2nd Vice-President . "§ 5 The President and the 1st Vice-President shall preferably be converters and from different areas , and in the absence of competitors in these conditions , any other associates , respecting the conditions already mentioned in these Bylaws , may compose a slate and compete to the positions of the Executive Board , as well as the 2nd Vice-President must be proven to be from the technical area ”.
Members interested in forming slates must formally register no later than July 31 , the deadline for registration .
Each slate must be composed of 1 President and 2 Vices , and at the time of registration , at
ABFLEXO ' s headquarters , the three positions must be filled with the full names of the candidates ; the slate must deliver its work program to headquarters .
The work program of each slate , as well as the name of its members , will be published in Inforflexo magazine ( July-August 2022 Edition ), provided that it is delivered to ABFLEXO , no later than July
10 , or the disclosure will only be on the Association ' s website .
Hence , the importance of delivering the work program in advance .
