First thing I chose to do
was set a colour palette,
I chose to work with blue
and yellow as they are
the colours of the EU
flag, I kept the restriction
to only these two colours
as observing the Swiss
Style posters the colour
is limited, also, in my
opinion, the boldness
of the colours work well
with the objectivity that
the booklet should rep-
resent. I tried to be faith-
ful to the traces of the
Swiss posters again, ty-
pography and alignment
wise.
On fig1 we can see the
grid layout I used, and
then decided to break. I
like working with an un-
even number of columns
and lines because then I
can have a square/rec-
tangle that is the centre
point of the whole piece,
here we can see I used a
9x9 grid. Fig2 is the final
piece. I used the same
grid throughout the re-
design.
