Weddings, graduation open houses, family reunions, outdoor concerts and carnivals abound. These parties are a lot of fun, but can be a big risk. How are you taking care of your customers? Are you adding the limited coverage available through a homeowner’s policy or are you providing your customers with a policy that is custom made for these situations? Fortunately, it is easy to do better for your customers. You can get them a much better policy, for not much more work or money (policies start at $250). Most special events policies can be quoted in 5 minutes or less, over the phone or on-line. There are only a few additional pieces of information needed in order to bind a policy. There are policies available for single events or multiple events. You can your customer ties them to you a little closer. They begin to depend on you, which is great for your bottom line. An easy way to market these policies and gather new customers is by getting to know the owners of local conference centers or other venues. When their customers ask where to get the required insurance, they can hand them your card.
