Here is an example of setting up the
“Unqualified” status step in a Lead Path:
Having set this up for all the crucial
parts of your business, you can see
how helpful this will be in training new
employees, keeping seasoned veterans
disciplined, and sharing new information
and insights. As new scenarios or
questions come up, they can be addressed
immediately at the right step in the
process. You can provide scripts, FAQs,
video, case studies, etc. (Note: Currently
you are limited to five fields for each step.
You can make the step fields required but
will need validation rules in place.)
It truly is like having a personal coach
for each team member.
Think about the improvements!
• The contract process can now be
tightened up. No more excuses for
not getting the information needed
to finalize the agreement. No more
back and forth with clients and

them losing confidence with each
iteration.
The sales process can be enhanced
with role-playing videos, new
questions,
graphics,
FAQs,
objection handling, and much more.
The lead process can be guided
and made much more efficient.
Just identifying what is and isn’t
a lead and making that clear in the
process will be a tremendous help
to everyone.
Cases can be more clear and
consistent.
The life cycle of an account
can be nurtured and cared for
systematically.
You’ll have education and support
all the time for everyone on your
team. New ideas can be added one
time and delivered immediately
to everyone who works with that
7
process.
Teams will be more successful
because they’ll have answers
now. They won’t have to guess
and worry. They won’t have to go
back and forth with the clients and
prospects for missing information,
and team members will be happier
because they’ll be more successful.
Happy employees lead to happy
customers.
There are many areas in your business
that Salesforce’s Lightning Experience
Path can enhance. If you haven’t been
using this Path feature, you’re missing
out. Trailhead has several videos to get
started. You can also listen to our recent
Fury & Friends webinar, PowerPath,
where we visited with our clients about
Path. Lots of great questions (and
answers)! Just go to our website (www.
