Princess Margaret Grand Prize Show Home

A Floor-by-Floor Design Experience
Designing the Princess Margaret Grand Prize Show Home was an opportunity to create a layered living experience on a modern scale— one where every floor tells its own story while still feeling beautifully connected. Each level was thoughtfully designed to balance luxury, comfort, and everyday livability, creating a home that feels both aspirational and welcoming.

Main Floor – The Heart of the Home
The main floor was designed to be the ultimate gathering space— open, inviting, and perfect for entertaining. The kitchen and great room span the entire back of the house, anchoring the space with elegant finishes, statement millwork, and highly functional design elements that make it both beautiful and practical.
The living room is arranged more as a conversation and gathering area, allowing guests to comfortably mingle with those in the kitchen while maintaining a natural flow throughout the space.
Flowing seamlessly from the kitchen is the servery and dining area, making hosting effortless and enjoyable. The living areas are layered with curated artwork, rich textures, and comfortable seating that encourage connection and relaxation.
Just off the foyer, the home office makes a dramatic first impression. Wood-paneled walls and beautifully styled cabinetry create a sophisticated space that feels both functional and visually striking.
Large windows flood the entire floor with natural light, while the indoor-outdoor connection leads to the entertaining areas beyond. Every detail on this level was selected to create a welcoming environment where family and friends naturally come together.
