Can you describe a typical day?

A typical day for me is quite a busy one. I have a 6.30AM rise each day and make my way to school where I teach and manage in a small secondary school. So you can imagine my days are busy at school.

I get home around 3.30PM, prepare and have my dinner. I sit down around 5PM to do some more work for school until about 7PM. Following that I start preparing for the following day, and then if possible, I try to have a walk or spend some time networking on Twitter and Goodreads.

Writing needs to be squeezed in somewhere however many times my mind is too tired and full of distractions after the day.

Where is your favourite space to write?

I usually write at my desk. However, if there are times, I love to sit in the prom front or in the local park and write. Environmental noise around me is not a problem as when I work I become one with my writing, pulled into the world and characters I am creating.
