though, in compared with my thriller series, the ghost-written work has gotten more attention and success. But I did get paid!

Which genre do you enjoy writing the most?

I enjoy the fast paced thriller genre. A kind of 24 TV show meets local area cop dramas. I dabble a bit in other genres as I am an avid Sci-fi buff and perhaps one day will release the more futuristic, tech thrillers once I am done with my Detective Paul Friedman series. I want to spin off one of my favorite characters into a series of her own. Monica Quinn is a Certified Fraud Examiner with an autistic son. A CFE is like a CSI except without all the bodies.

What was your first favourite book?

Damien Omen II. I read the book because I was too young to go see the movie at the time. I enjoyed reading the book because here you have the most seminal villain of all-time, the Anti-Christ. And the book featured an exploration into the mind of this villain. At some points, you almost felt sorry for him, that to me was epic. I like villains that the reader can at times, identify with, even sympathize with. It makes the writing more three dimensional than your typical curly mustache-twirling, black hat wearing bad guy.
