What is your favourite movie?

My favourite film is Zulu, forget the dodgy acting and rubber spears it was actually a fair representation of the events and anything with Michael Cain in has to be good. Oh yes and the original Italian Job, fantastic.

What advice would you give to aspiring indie authors?

So much I could tell them, I have learnt via hard knocks so much but I suppose the one thing I would say is believe in yourself and your work. I have had so much advice given some bad, most helpful but all contradictory, one says they like something, another says they hate it. Remember it’s your work don’t let anyone else detract from what you first imagined.

Are you now happy with the re-shaped ‘Dead Men Lie’?

My God yes, this goes back to the previous question, we had got the book (my editor and I) as we thought pretty neigh as good as we could make it . Then I submitted the wrong file to the printers and we were back to square one, too late to halt the run, we ended up with a bad batch of books. So we went back and looked at each paragraph each line, took out loads of superfluous material and really tightened everything up. It is still the same story but it now reads much better. I think so any-way, I hope the readers feel the same.
