Google+ doesn’t exclude anything from peoples’ home streams, but again like Facebook I find it hard to grow.

Pinterest, well I have a page, but I still don’t see the point. Podcasting and video blogging is

said to be good by some people, but I imagine this will depend on how many subscribers

you can gain and you will need to post at least once or twice a month to

keep people’s interest.

I now have my own website, but it has only been going a couple of months and I am still getting

used to the technology. It is worth getting a .com or .co.uk page as you own it and it can’t

be taken away from you, unlike Facebook.

I used LCN to buy my domain name and Exhz for my hosting, both of which I found

very good. Do not search for your chosen domain name until you are ready to purchase it,

you don’t want someone buying it before you.

Which of these has generated the most sales?

I haven’t got a clue! It seems quite random when people buy my books.

I think Twitter and reviews are my main tools. I don’t sell a huge amount,

but I do sell. They say you have to have written 4 books before

people start recognising your name, so I guess I’m not there yet.

What advice would you give aspiring Indie authors regarding promoting their work?
