I'm not quite sure what a 'real writer' is or looks like so, we could all start writing in French if we want a chance to become successful authors in the near future or we could carry on as we are.

The advantage of the Indie market is the diversity of novels and works that are available that cover so many genres. Do most readers really want to only read what is popular? or would they prefer to have more choice?

Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with publishers, having self-published and worked on marketing I have the utmost respect for the work they do.

I guess I'm just trying to say that the world is big enough for all of us.
