Can you tell us Ngaire, who is Cecilia Spark?
Cecilia is 10 years old, a bit of a tomboy and lives with her mum and her dog, Flurry. She has an insatiable appetite for adventure. Her ambition is to encourage children to read and motivate them to explore the great outdoors. She does this through her adventures; a magical world of rivers and forests and mountains, populated with animals big and small. Her escapades are bursting with thrills and spills, with a humorous streak running through each chapter; Cecilia loves to laugh. She hopes to ignite their imagination and persuade them to get outside and learn more for themselves, or at least, to pick up a book about the natural world in which they live.
Is there a little of you in Cecilia?
No!!!!!! Not one wee bit, although my brother disagrees, hahahahahaha!
Will she grow up and become a teenager?
I don’t think so. Cecilia Spark enjoys being 10 years old and I don’t think she’d take too kindly to experiencing teenage issues.
