Cotton Ginning Facilities: A DPA LoC
US$19.93 million dollar project of 2009. Cotton
Ginneries were constructed and supplied to
Government of Malawi at Ngabu, Ngara and
Balaka located about 350 km, 450 km and
215 km from Lilongwe respectively, in the
Cotton farming areas of Malawi. The plants
were commissioned in 2012. Each plant has an
output of 250 bales of cotton with each bale of
250 kgs per day.
