IMPLEMENTATION STRATEGY
WITH THE PUBLICATION OF THIS PLAN , THE FOCUS TURNS
TOWARD IMPLEMENTATION .
In 2022 , the Leadership Committee will be tasked with approving an implementation plan with phased schedules and budgets for each initiative that also outlines roles and responsibilities for participating and supporting partners . The project team will issue an annual report that tracks progress and refines metrics .
OUR CURRENT FOCUS
While moving through the early phases of this project and the development of this document , we ’ ve begun implementing some of these strategies and initiatives . Below is a list of the work we ’ ve begun while we finalize this EDP .
• Interim programming at India Basin began in Summer 2019 and has included events such as the Shipwright ’ s Cottage mural unveiling ; a free , public Golden State Warriors playoff game screening ; Sundown Cinema ; a Mardi Gras celebration ; a brunch hosted by SF Black Wallstreet , and a makers market , with many more events coming in 2022 . In addition , the Park has hosted job fairs and trainings , health services , volunteer cleanups , community meetings and more in 2021 . The interim activation planning process has included collaboration with local community organizations , event planners and small businesses .
