STRATEGY 3 : SUPPORT BVHP COMMERCIAL CORRIDORS BEYOND THE PARK
Use the Park at India Basin to encourage economic development adjacent to the Park on Innes Avenue and other commercial corridors such as Third Street throughout BVHP . Identify financial and mentorship support for existing small businesses , emphasizing outreach to Black-owned businesses .
INITIATIVES
• Support initiatives that draw more people to Innes Avenue and the Third Street corridor and help create a sense of belonging
• Support the creation and enhancement of BVHP-focused business programs that include tailored financial support , professional networking opportunities , intensive training for local businesses and entrepreneurs , and small business grants
• Partner with organizations that provide trainings on how to do business in the City and County of San Francisco , with targeted outreach to Black-owned BVHP businesses
