Coordinate with SFMTA to ensure the Park is served by a robust public transit schedule , availability , location and quality of bus shelters that facilitates safe , easy and reliable access to the Park . Secure additional parking at off-site locations to accommodate larger events at the Park and manage traffic congestion Ensure adequate ADA-compliant parking for patrons with limited mobility Advocate for public parking to be provided by adjacent developments Increase the number of bike share stations around the Park and India Basin Outcome 3 : The public is safe in and around the Park Collaborate with City agencies to improve safety for pedestrians by increasing lighting , reflective striping , and other best practices along Hunters Point Boulevard and Innes Avenue Explore non-traditional methods to increase safety , including lighting elements and music streamed in key spaces and walking corridors Explore the use of neighborhood-based community ambassadors to improve safety , prevent and address adverse behavior within the Park , as well as allay the need for intervention by law enforcement Initiate pedestrian and public safety programming in conjunction with local area schools and community-based organizations Partner with city agencies and local nonprofits to dispatch social workers to provide services and resources to local , unhoused residents and those in need
