How does music affect you and the world around you?
Music makes me feel alive! Music is the only thing in
this whole world that I can honestly say I am passionate
about. I can be working on it for hours and not realize
how much time has gone by. I enjoy creating music from
silence and having a complete stranger enjoy it. Music is
the universal language of the world. It connects people
from all over the world.
Do you feel music is entering a whole new generation?
I believe it is. With the new technology, as a musician
you don’t have to be rich to be able to create music and
compete with the artists in the recording industry. As
long as you really want to make music your dream and
purse it with an ambitious, relentless and passionate attitude the internet and technology provide you with the
necessary tools to accomplish that dream.
What's your outlook on the record industry today?
My outlook on the record industry is positive. The beauty of music is good music can never be denied. All the
garbage and filtered watered down music can be popular
at times but that music is not timeless. Passionate good
music will always be the choice of the listener because
that is the music that connects with the soul. Therefore,
as long as you have musicians such as myself who take
this craft seriously and continue to push thru and fight
all obstacles to have their music heard to the world
brings me to believe t he outlook on the record industry
will always have hope and positive outcome.
life which is What Is My Purpose in Life? I truly believe mine is to create music and make an impact in the
world with my music. People all over the world enjoy
my music. This inspires me! God gave me a gift that I am
forever grateful for.
If you could win any award, one of your choice what
award would it be?
Best New Artist. I would love to win this award because
this means I made an impact with my style and showed
everyone you don’t have to be a follower and try to intimate what is currently considered popular.
Do you get nervous before a performance or a competition?
Of course. The nervousness sets in due to the fact we
all are human. However, after the first 10-20 mins I get
comfortable and enjoy the moment
Describe your show, visual and musically.
I use to participate in beat battles but that was earlier in
my career. Right now I do a lot of my work in the studio.
However, I will be performing live in the near future.
Tell us about your next shows and why we should be
there.
When I do start performing live, you should be there
because you will get to witness a musician who takes his
craft seriously and plays from the heart. At the end of
the day you cannot fake pure passion and emotion. Any
listener or spectator will be able to see my musicianship
is at high level.
How do you promote your band and shows?
I promote my music and production company through
different social media such as Reverbnation and Twitter.
Also, I have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. Therefore
I am able to call and promote my music to corporations
such as CBS, NBC Universal, Wall Street, Advertising
Agencies, and Fortune 500 Companies.
What are the biggest obstacles for bands?
The biggest obstacle is being persistent through the
difficult times of having no income or revenue for the
music you create. Even though I love creating music and
want to do this full time, bills have to be paid and I think
sometimes the fact that revenue and income is not coming right away some bands and musicians quit to early
and don’t purse making music full time.
What's new in the recording of your music?
I recently just finished my new studio and will have new
music out this month. Also I will be working on debut
album as well as promoting and marketing my artists Albums and Ep’s who are part of my production company
How is the celebrity life style treating you?
I would not consider myself a celebrity. I do have a great
buzz and get constant recognition for my work in different social media however I did not make music to
become a celebrity. I make music because I finally found
something I love doing and I want to be the best and
compete with the best at my craft.
What advice would you give to beginners who are nervous?
Fear is the greatest power in the world. Once you eliminate fear your dreams become reality.
What inspires you to do what you do?
Everyone asks the famous question throughout their
How often and for how long do you practice?
I practice every day for a minimum of 2 hours.
Any Final Words?
