FEDERATION OF REGGAE MUSIC Empress Asia A llison Asare is a graduate of Centennial College in Canada who majored in the Community and Justice Services program. She is a published poet by profession who is known by the name is Empress Aisha. Allison is an advocate of the arts and wants to share her work and talent with the world. She is a recipient of Centennial College’s Global Citizen scholarship Award which she received in January 2013. The significance of this award is to acknowledge her leadership of social justice and how she models equitable principles. Born in Toronto, Canada she is of Ghanaian-Jamaican parentage. Faced with a culture shock and challenges as to where she fits in Allison knows that she belongs wherever she can share experiences. Allison Asare has contributed to artistic insight through poetry with the Ministry Of Children and Youth Services, Youth Justice Services in Ontario to help with a report for youth reintegration protocols. She created a spoken word video as well as the strong implementation of the ideas that she contributed. She created a poem called “Opening a New Door” about reducing the stigmas between councillors and clients
