Ingredients for the dough:

5 cups of cornmeal (maseca)

5 cups of water

1/2 cup tomato sauce (optional)

2 tablespoons consommé

Salt and pepper to taste.

Preparation of the dough:

In a large bowl, knead the cornmeal with the 5 cups of water, until it forms a homogeneous dough.

Add to the dough with 2 tablespoons of consommé and tomato sauce.

Season with salt and pepper to taste, mix well.

Ingredients for the stuffing:

2 steamed potatoes

4 Steamed King Chicken Breasts

1/2 cup tomato sauce

Onion finely chopped

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon of consommé

Salt and pepper to taste.

Preparation of the filling:

In a frying pan, fry the onion, tomato sauce, shredded chicken and mashed potatoes, for 10 minutes over medium heat until all the ingredients are well incorporated.

Season with consommé, salt and pepper to taste.

Preparation of the bends:

Form an omelet with the dough, add 1 tablespoon of filling in the center of the tortilla.

Fold the tortilla so that it filled in, and seal the edge of the bend with your fingers.

Heat the oil in a pan and fry the bends on both sides, until they are golden brown.

Place the folded on a napkin so that it adsorbs the excess oil.

Serve with red sauce, cheese and parsley.
