“ Maybe we are sending good men out into this world after all.”
Despite his success across industries, Adams is refreshingly honest about burnout and pressure.“ You don’ t avoid burnout,” he says, candidly.“ You burn out. You crash. You make mistakes. Sometimes, the family suffers because you’ re overcompensating somewhere else. Then you learn, reset, and come back stronger.”
For Adams, there’ s no magic formula to balancing fatherhood, music, and business; only constant learning, gratitude, and showing up every day with intention.
Awards and accolades matter less to him now than the kind of men his children become.
“ Respect, empathy, and compassion; those are the values that matter most.”
He recalls how respect was deeply instilled in his own upbringing.“ At the end of the day, my children won’ t remember awards or public success. They’ ll remember whether I was a good father who was truly present in their lives.”
When asked about his proudest moment, as a husband and father, Adams becomes reflective.“ Watching Michelle grow into the woman and mother she is today has been one of the greatest privileges of my life,” he says.
And his children?
“ When I see how my boys treat people, how they carry themselves, and how they speak to others, I genuinely feel proud. Maybe we are sending good men out into this world after all.” IB
