Best time to visit: June to September offers peak flood levels, cooler temperatures and excellent wildlife viewing. Pack neutral colours: Beige, khaki and green blend into the environment and are more comfortable in the heat. Expect water, everywhere: Even land-based camps rely on boats or mokoros for access during flood season.
