If you’ re worried about something on your skin, you want to see a dermatologist as soon as possible. With busy schedules, taking time to drive to an appointment can be troublesome, but with UPMC eDermatology you can get answers quickly without leaving your home.
Available 24 / 7 through the MyUPMC portal, eDermatology allows you to submit photos of a skin problem. A dermatology provider will assess your concern, provide a diagnosis and prescription, or recommend an in-person appointment for further evaluation.

HOW TO GET STARTED
UPMC eDermatology is available for new and current UPMC patients who are Pennsylvania residents. You can access the service by visiting upmc. com / edermatology or logging into MyUPMC online or via the mobile app.
In MyUPMC: Select“ Other Care Options.” Navigate to the“ Virtual Care” drop-down. Select“ eDermatology.”
Once you submit your photos and information, you’ ll receive a response within 72 hours.
