Owned and operated by the nonprofit Westmoreland Cultural Trust , Palace Theatre provides a historic and theatrical venue for community artists . As a nonprofit , it relies on a dedicated group of volunteers to help direct visitors to their seats , take tickets and assist with any questions guests may have . Use your creative talents to help kids this holiday season ! This project ’ s mission is simple : to provide love , a sense of security , warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill , traumatized , or otherwise in need . It does this by giving them gifts of new , handmade blankets , quilts and afghans , lovingly created for Project Linus by volunteer “ blanketeers .” The blanketeers are part of the mission as well , seeking to provide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interested individuals and groups in local communities , for the benefit of children .
