INTRODUCE A GIRL TO ENGINEERING
On Tuesday, Apr. 12, Westinghouse proudly sponsored “Introduce a Girl to
Engineering” in Churchill. Introduce a Girl to Engineering is a recurring national
movement that aims to introduce female high school students to careers in engineering.
Twenty-five young women from seven local school districts experienced engineering upclose and personal.
This is the 14th consecutive year that Westinghouse has partnered with the Pittsburgh
chapter of Women in Nuclear (WIN) to host and inspire female students to pursue
STEM-related careers.
