Nia( Neuromuscular Integrative Action) is a barefoot movement practice that blends dance, martial arts, and healing arts into one energizing, feel-good workout suitable for all fitness levels. Free.
u Ceramics Wheelthrowing
Wednesdays, 3 – 6 p. m. Reserve a ceramics wheel for an hour at a time. $ 10 / hour; free for residents of our service area. Tools, clay, glaze, kiln firing included— just bring your imagination!
FOR CHILDREN / YOUTH
u Mommy, Mud & Me Tuesdays, 11:30 a. m.– 12:30 p. m. A hands-on ceramics program designed for caregivers and young children to explore the fun of working with clay together. For children 3 – 9 with an adult caregiver. Free.
u Sew Fun Fashion Tuesdays, 4 – 5 p. m. Get creative with fabric, color, and texture in the Fab Lab! Youth will learn basic sewing skills while dreaming up fun projects using a mix of materials and machines. All materials provided. For youth of all ages, but children under the age of 9 must be accompanied by an adult. Free.
u Braddock’ s Master Builders LEGO Club Thursdays, 4:30 – 5:30 p. m. Sessions include open building time, group projects, and themed challenges. All materials are provided; just bring your creativity, curiosity, and love of LEGO. Children ages 5 and up. Free.
u Friday Crafternoons Fridays, 3:30 – 4:30 p. m. Check out the Fab Lab after school for a burst of hands-on creativity! Each week brings a brand-new craft project to make, explore, and proudly take home. For children ages 3-12. Free.

u Ceramics Hand Building Wednesdays, 3 – 6 p. m. Learn basic handbuilding techniques as you shape, sculpt, and add texture to your design. No experience needed, materials included, and finished works will be kiln-fired. All ages, but children under the age of 9 must be accompanied by an adult. $ 20 / person; free for residents of our service area.
u Fab Lab Studio Saturdays, noon – 3 p. m. A hands-on mixed-media maker session! For all ages, but children under the age of 9 must be accompanied by an adult. Free.
20TH ANNUAL CHILI COOK-OFF Saturday, March 21, 1 – 4 p. m. Come eat chili and vote for your favorite while supporting the work of Carnegie One! Tickets are $ 15 each or $ 10 for residents of our service area.
FREE MOVIE SCREENING April 22, 6 – 8 p. m. or April 25, noon – 2 p. m. Celebrate National Library Week and come to one of two free screenings of“ The Librarians,” a documentary highlighting how librarians emerge as first responders in the fight for democracy and our First Amendment rights.
