FEEDING THE COMMUNITY
This time of year can be especially hard for those in need , with additional expenses and work often slowing during the colder months . The Cloverleaf Area Ecumenical Assistance program serves area families in need of food or other assistance . It operates out of the Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish with many individuals , churches and synagogues participating .
The food pantry is located at the St . Elizabeth of Hungary school building and distributes food every two weeks throughout the year , providing more than 120,000 lbs . of food annually . It is staffed entirely by volunteers . If you would be able to contribute to the mission of the pantry , or are willing to volunteer , visit cloverleafpantry . org for more information .

Claude Debussy had a love of the sea and definitely connected with it when composing his music . His most famous work , the beautiful “ Claire de Lune ,” was inspired by moonlight upon the sea . The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra will present Debussy ’ s “ La Mer ” on Jan . 10 and 12 .
Also included in the program will be María Huld Markan Sigfúsdóttir , with the PSO premiere of “ Oceans ,” Prokofiev ’ s Violin Concerto No . 2 , and Sibelius , with the PSO premiere of “ The Oceanides .”
