OUR STATEMENT
The Rankin Christian Center is a non-profit, faith based
community social service agency, primarily focusing on
serving minority and underserved communities in the
Mon Valley of Allegheny County.
Our agency houses program services for at-risk
individuals from birth to seniors.
Through our comprehensive network of service delivery
we provide a holistic approach to individuals and families,
enhancing their opportunities to develop physically,
mentally, and spiritually, thereby allowing us the opportunity to positively impact the
future of those we serve and ultimately our region.

SENIORS ON THE MOVE – MONDAY – FRIDAY 9:00 TO 2:00
We welcome all seniors over the age of sixty to join us in daily activities.
Bingo – 1st Friday of the month
Luncheon – 2nd Friday of the month (RSVP required) Cost $7.00
Computer Class - Tuesday 9:30 to 11:30 (signups required)
Walking Group – Wednesdays at 10:00
Line Dancing – Thursdays 9:00 to 11:00 – Cost $2.00 a session
FOOD PANTRY
Distributes food to local residents who are in need of food and
food products and have financial difficulties. (Proof of residence
and income required)
MON VALLEY SUPPORTS COORDINATION
Mon Valley has established itself as a leader among the Supports Coordination sector by
delivering services in a way that is uniquely people-driven, committed and progressive.
For children and adults who have been diagnosed with an intellectual disability and/or
Autism, our supports coordination is well-known and is well-respected program that
helps with locating, coordinating and monitoring services that improve the quality of
their lives.
A.N. MINNEY
July of 2019 we celebrated our 40th year awarding 12 Woodland Hills High School
Seniors and 21 College Students with monetary awards for college and trade schools. We
look forward to next year’s celebration. All students who are pursuing a college or trade
school and are seniors in the Woodland Hills School District 2019-2020 School Year will
be eligible to apply in April of 2020.
PALISADES PLAZA SOCIAL SERVICES
We offer assistance for residents facing issues regarding tenant/landlord disputes, utility
insurance, housing discrimination and eviction. We also provide resources and services
that are available to assist at risk residents living in public housing.
