TRANSPORTATION
PROJECTS IN
ALLEGHENY AND
WESTMORELAND,
BREWSTER SAYS
Four grants worth nearly $1 million were
approved by the state’s Commonwealth
Financing Authority (CFA) to fund
transportation projects in Allegheny and
Westmoreland counties, according to
state Sen. Jim Brewster (D-Allegheny/
Westmoreland).
The projects include a $600,000 grant for
the Port Authority of Allegheny County to
help build, rehabilitate and modernize the
new McKeesport Transportation Center,
located in the center of the city.
“These grants will fund key transportation
initiatives that serve the public in a varie
