time with the chickens. The flock of 13 are
Dominiques, the breed that would have
been found on the plantation during its
regular usage in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Expert and amateur gardeners alike will
find inspiration and garden beauty. Good
quality perennials will be on sale during
tour hours at the library along with free
consultations from Penn State Master
Gardeners and a Pittsburgh Rose Society
Consulting Rosarian. All proceeds from
this event benefit Mt. Lebanon Public
Library. Tickets for the Garden Tour are
$15 per person in advance (at the library
and online) and $20 on the day of the tour
at the library.
