Toddler / Preschool Storytime – Wednesdays at 10:30 – 11:00 a. m. Stories, crafts, and social time. This weekly program is best for ages 2-6.

Winter Wildlife with Humane Animal Rescue – December 16, 2025, at 3:00 p. m. When the weather gets colder, have you ever wondered how animals cope with the change in the seasons? Cozy up and learn about the many different ways the animals in our backyard deal with the cold! Recommended for ages six through 12.
Healthy Living for Your Brain & Body – December 16, 2025, at 5:30 p. m. Learn about research in the areas of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement, and use hands-on tools to help you incorporate these recommendations into a plan for healthy aging.
That’ s a Wrap: A Holiday Gift Wrapping Extravaganza – December 17, 2025, from 5:00 – 7:00 p. m. Get your holiday gift-wrapping done in one place! Bring your holiday gifts, and we’ ll bring the wrapping supplies. Light holiday refreshments will be provided. This is a free drop-in event.
Crafternoon: Wreath-Making and Decorating – December 18, 2025, from 2:00 – 4:00 p. m. Make your own holiday wreath- from frame to frills. We will be handbuilding pine branch wreaths on 14-inch frames and decorating with ribbon, bells, and bows
DIY Paper Bag Stars – December 30, 2025, at 5:30 p. m. Create beautiful 3D paper star decorations to display or hang for the winter season, using simple paper bags. Participants will make up to 3 stars.
Get Hooked on Crochet: Two-Part Session – January 10, 2026, and January 17, 2026, at 10:00 a. m. Are you curious about learning how to crochet, but aren’ t sure where to start? Join us for this 2-part beginners crochet class! Led by instructor Jen, students will learn the step-by-step basics of this yarn craft.
Witching Hour – January 17, 2026, at 12:00 p. m. Harness your inner witch and come prepare for the new year with us! Create a mood board to help manifest your resolutions, learn how to use tarot cards to see what 2026 has in store for you, and put together a spell sachet to help create the energy you want this year. Recommended for ages 13-18.
Library Mini Golf Experience – January 24, 2026, Time Varies by Group Tee off for a one-of-a-kind mini golf experience through the library and borough building! Families can enjoy 18 imaginative holes from 12:00 – 4:00 p. m., followed by an adults-only( 21 +) round from 6:00 – 9:00 p. m.
Winter Seed Sowing 101 – February 14, 2026, at 12:00 p. m. Are you curious about starting your own seedlings for your garden? Come and get the dirt on this gardening method in this beginner’ s workshop! Attendees will learn how to sow seeds for their yards / gardens in the winter through cold stratification in empty plastic gallon jugs and make their own!
Watersheds & Rain Barrels with PA Resources Council – February 25, 2026, at 6:00 p. m. Join us for a rainwater collection workshop with the PA Resources Council! Participants will learn how to harvest rainwater from their roofs, store it, and use it in the landscape.

Mahjong – Mondays from 1:00 – 4:00 p. m. Looking to play Mahjong in a relaxed and welcoming setting? This classic tile-based game is perfect for exercising the mind and enjoying friendly conversation. Open to all skill levels.
Page to Screen Book Club – Fourth Monday of Every Month from 3:30 – 5:00 p. m. Is the book really better then than the movie / tv show? This new book club for 7th to 12th graders invites with you to decide! Read the book, discuss the book, and then watch the first episode of the tv show / part of the movie together!
Scrabble Club – Tuesdays from 1:30 – 4:30 p. m. Drop in for an afternoon of friendly competition and wordplay. All skill levels welcome!
One More Chapter Book Club – Last Wednesday of Every Month from 6:00 – 7:00 p. m. Interested in reading and discussing books? Join the club for engaging book discussions on a variety of topics and stories. Books are reserved through the library monthly and available to check out.
Backpack Breakdown – Thursdays from 4:00 – 5:30 p. m. Need a space to focus on your homework after school? This is your time to work on your homework or projects. Volunteers from TJHS will also be available to help answer homework questions. Recommended for Grades 5- 8.
Dance Fitness – Thursdays from 6:00 – 7:00 p. m. Get fit while having fun! Move and groove to pop music in this upbeat, interactive class! Just $ 5 per session. Walk-ins welcome.
Shooting Stars Writing Group – 1st and 3rd Saturday of Every Month from 11:00 a. m. – 12:00 p. m. For kids who love to write! Build writing skills, explore ideas, share work with peers, and get inspired with guidance from a local author.
