Winter Notes from the
Pleasant Hills Borough Code Official
• Dispose of your leaf and yard waste property . Leaves should be disposed of in biodegradable bags and residents should utilize the leaf collection service provided by County Hauling .
• Leaves are never to be burned .
• Do not blow or shovel leaves or snow into the street . It is a violation of PA Motor Vehicle Code and Borough Code 316-22
60 WEST JEFFERSON HILLS
• Sidewalks need to be maintained in the event of ice or snow accumulation . Sidewalks need to be shoveled within 24 hours of a snowfall .
• Portable basketball hoops need to be set back at least 5ft from the curb to allow snow removal vehicles easy access to maintain the borough streets .
• Overnight On-Street Parking is prohibited and enforced by the Pleasant Hills Police Department . Also , please refrain from parking vehicles on the street during snow and ice events . Parked vehicles make it difficult for snow removal equipment to clear the roads . Additionally , parking vehicles in snowplow turn around areas is prohibited by Borough Code .

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Pleasant Hills Candy Crawl . We were lucky to have such a beautiful evening for the kids to be able to visit Mowry Park for candy and fireworks . The TJ Band did a fantastic job leading the costume parade along with the majorettes and color guard .
