SWIFT WATER RESCUE
B aldwin EMS and Pleasant Hills Fire conducted a swift water rescue training at the TJ High School pool on October 21 . Lt . Mike Kaplan ( Baldwin EMS ) and several Baldwin EMS personnel assisted 232 firefighters with swimming skills , survival in water , boat operating with paddles , and basic water rescue techniques . Over the next several months the firefighters and paramedics will be training in multiple water rescue environments during several Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission trainings .
