AARP FREE Tax Preparation Assistance Coming to Jefferson Hills Library
Appointments to be taken beginning January 10 for Mondays and Thursdays from Noon to 4:00 p . m .
Free tax preparation services , sponsored by AARP Tax- Aide , will be available in the Jefferson Hills Municipal Building community room for low to moderate income taxpayers of all ages . Service is available for Federal , State , and Local tax returns as well as Property Tax / Rent Rebates . Preparers are annually trained , tested , and certified by the IRS .
New in 2022 : Appointments will be taken starting January 10 using a private phone number . In January , the phone number can be found using the Tax-Aide site locator at aarp . org / money / taxes / aarp _ taxaide / locations . html ( enter your zip code and select Jefferson Hills Library ). The telephone number will also be available on jeffersonhillslibrary . org , the Jefferson Hills Library Facebook page and by calling the Jefferson Hills Library at 412-655-7741 .
