Senior Kamryn Kameg was announced as the 2021 Thomas Jefferson Homecoming Queen at the Jaguars ’ Homecoming victory over Ringgold . Bella Bertini was the runner-up .
Homecoming activities and Spirit Week for TJHS kicked off on a warm mid-October evening with the Homecoming parade and carnival at the high school . Sponsored by the TJHS Student Council , the parade was led by the TJ Marching Band and cheerleaders , followed by the Homecoming Court , who rode in a variety of classic cars , sports cars and trucks .
The TJ 2021 Homecoming Court members were : Katherine Babilon , Bella Bertini , Becca DeAngelo , Kamryn Kameg , Madison Lear , Savannah Mallozzi , Julia Palmer , Riley Patrick , Sarah Petrovich , Sophia Stoicovy and Jaylin Taubes .
Immediately following the parade , the sizeable crowd moved from the front of TJHS to the back for a carnival . The carnival featured a variety of food , beverages , games , a bounce house and face painting hosted by numerous TJ club organizations and sports teams . Proceeds from the carnival benefit TJ clubs .
