FREE Tax Preparation
Mondays and Thursdays , February through mid-April Noon to 4:00 p . m .
Free tax preparation services , sponsored by AARP Tax-Aide , will be available for low to moderate income taxpayers of all ages . Appointments will be taken by the Jefferson Hills Library at 412-655-7741 starting Monday , January 17 at 10:00 a . m . Preparers are annually trained , tested , and certified by the IRS . BABYSITTING CLASSES
Have your tweens been asking to stay home alone ? Has he or she completed 5th grade and would like to babysit ? Then maybe it ’ s time for Safe Sitter .
Jefferson Hills Library has been a registered Safe Sitter babysitter training site for the past several years . Until on-site training again is offered at the library , Safe Sitter is recommending that families who have teens who want to babysit to train virtually .
