Now that our building is back to having students inperson five days a week , we kicked off November as our Positive Behavior Pledge Month . We are once again using the ROCK Star theme to reinforce our SWPBIS
( School-Wide Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports ) plan . We will be encouraging all students to :
R - Respect others
O - Obey all rules
C - Care for one another
K - Keep our hands and feet to ourselves .
The teachers will be looking for a ROCK star to nominate from their classrooms each month who consistently displayed those positive behaviors . The following month those selected students will be invited to a ROCK Star photo shoot , where their pictures will be hung in our “ ROCK Star Hall of Fame .” They will also have the opportunity to participate in a “ Donut Dance Party ” with the principal in the morning before school . To help build extra excitement , we even had a famous rockstar create a promo video to kick off the month ! You can view the entire video here by scanning the QR code .
