The Public Works Department is integral for keeping the Borough of Jefferson Hills up and running . Under the leadership of Mike Volpe , the 11-person , full-time staff , works to maintain more than 50 miles of streets through the Borough , assist with various improvement projects in the parks , and maintain the upkeep of all Borough facilities .
