GILL HALL ELEMENTARY ADAM ZUNIC, PRINCIPAL
Gill Hall Elementary School is Bigger and Better
A
t Gill Hall Elementary School, we celebrated the
completion of our renovation and opening of our
new ten-classroom wing at the end of November.
The renovation was necessary to accommodate
our growing student population. Our cafeteria was completely
remodeled, including a new kitchen with the addition of two
serving lines. We now have an upgraded HVAC system with
new univents and central air conditioning in every classroom.
The highlight of the renovation is the new ten-classroom wing
44 WEST JEFFERSON HILLS
which includes a flexible, instructional space. New state-of-
the-art classrooms allow staff to meet the needs of our 21st
century learners. A second entrance accommodates the need
for smoother arrival and dismissal procedures. The most exciting
aspect of the renovation for students is the new playground
which includes a rubberized play surface to ensure student
safety as well as climbing apparatuses, swings and slides. Much
like the new TJ 2.0, the new addition to Gill Hall Elementary
School was “worth the wait!”
