Winter Animals with the Allegheny
County Park Rangers, Dec. 16,
6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
You might wear a big fluffy coat or
sit by a fire to keep warm, but how do
animals survive the winter? Join the
Allegheny County Park Rangers to find
out! We’ll learn how local wildlife adapts
to our cold winter climate, whether it’s
by moving away, sleeping through it, or
toughing it out. Fun for the whole family!

Yoga with Tammy Z, Dec. 18,
9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
Vanessa Warden, a third grader at
Jefferson Hills Elementary School,
used her ninth birthday as a way to do
something good for others. In lieu of
gifts, she asked her friends to purchase
toys for the Child Life Department of
Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. She
delivered the collection of toys to the
hospital on Oct. 14.
All programs take
place at the library
at 302 Old Clairton

stated otherwise.

up for the Winter months starting on
January 3, 2020. A representative from
The Frick Pittsburgh will speak about
our local museum and share information
about the 1893 World Exposition in
Chicago and detail how it ties to Pittsburgh.
February 10, 2020, Kelly Stebler a
practitioner of Reiki will explain and
demonstrate the benefits of Reiki for our
physical, mental and emotional health.
March is our annual covered dish dinner.
Meetings start at 8 p.m. and are held at
Vanadium Woods, 50 Vanadium Road,
Bridgeville, Pa. 15017.

with Ms. Tammy Ziccardi, which will

This is a very welcoming and positive
60 minute yoga class. These classes are set
up to introduce you to the common poses
practiced in yoga. All levels welcome!

Hills Library program room. The group
invites all who play or want to learn to
play the ukulele to join in the fun! All skill

Own Uke and a Smile!
Any new members in need of
instruction, please plan to arrive at
12:45 p.m. each week. There will be a brief
lesson taught by Peggy Krall, and you are
more than welcome to stay and play and
