The West Jefferson Hills School District is looking for individuals who hold a bachelor’s degree or PA Teaching Certificate to explore the possibility of substitute teaching. An informational session on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 will provide interested individuals with the steps necessary to become a “guest teacher” in the District. Information will include an overview of what it is like to be a day-to-day substitute, guidance on necessary training, applying for emergency certification, how to apply, and necessary clearances and documents. Substitute teaching is a rewarding experience that allows you to support the education of our students while having a flexible work schedule.
