DO YOU LIKE WORKING WITH CHILDREN AND NEED
FLEXIBILITY IN YOUR SCHEDULE?
The West Jefferson Hills School District is looking for individuals who hold a bachelor’s degree
or PA Teaching Certificate to explore the possibility of substitute teaching. An informational
session on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 will provide interested individuals with the steps
necessary to become a “guest teacher” in the District. Information will include an overview of
what it is like to be a day-to-day substitute, guidance on necessary training, applying for
emergency certification, how to apply, and necessary clearances and documents.
Substitute teaching is a rewarding experience that allows you to support the
education of our students while having a flexible work schedule.
Please RSVP by emailing [email protected] to let us know you are interested and
will be attending.
