Happy 40th
Anniversary
Jefferson Hospital
Last month Jefferson Hospital celebrated 40
years of service to the South Hills, Lower Mon
Valley and surrounding communities with a
dinner and program, at South Hills Country
Club. The theme of the evening was “A Time to
Reminisce and Recognize: 1977 to 2017.”
“We’ve come a long way in the last 40 years,
but throughout that journey we have never lost
sight of our mission to provide compassionate,
high-quality, patient-centered health care for the
people in the communities we serve,” said Louise
Urban, President and CEO of Jefferson Hospital.
Jefferson Hills mayor Jan Cmar participated
in a video that was shown at the dinner with
hospital and civic leaders reminiscing about the
history and accomplishments of the Hospital
over the years. “We are proud that the Borough
of Jefferson Hills is home to Jefferson Hospital,
and we wish the Hospital much success as it
continues to provide outstanding care to our
community in the next 40 years,” said Cmar.
