Visits McClellan

ward-winning author and Pittsburgh native, Alan
St. Jean, came to McClellan Elementary School in
November to talk about some of his books. During his
visit, Mr. St. Jean shared his knowledge on the wonderful
world of writing and the elements of great story telling in
a fun and entertaining way. He had two age-appropriate
presentations, focusing on his picture books for our younger
students and his chapter books for our upper-classmen. He
also provided classroom copies of his books for our teachers,
and personally signed purchased copies of books for our
students. This was a wonderful assembly for our students
and teachers alike. Thank you to the McClellan PTA for always
providing such entertaining and educational experiences for
our students!
