t is hard to believe that Fall has approached so quickly and
with such beautiful weather. Our students and staff have been
busy attending the many great things our high school has to
offer. They have been very busy performing at band festivals,
rehearsing for the Fall play, studying and taking PSATs/SATs,
and participating in the many athletic and extra-curricular
activities available to them.
Our soccer teams, both men’s and women’s, have earned
playoff berths and advanced after winning in the first round. The
volleyball and football teams have both earned playoff spots as
well, while the golfers and runners have advanced, too. No matter
what sport or activity you have seen or supported, it has been
nothing short of excellent.
The high school once again hosted “Sweet, Sweet Jazz” in
the auditorium with a thunderous welcome. TJ Arts has been
instrumental in helping provide this uniquely, star-studded
evening, highlighted by the creative talents of our very own Food
and Consumer Science Students. Under the leadership of Mrs.
Stoicovy and Mrs. Moore, our students created delectable treats
that really put the SWEET in the “Sweet, Sweet Jazz!”
