IN HONOR OF VETERANS
With the recent observance of Memorial Day, it calls to mind the tremendous sacrifices our veterans make.
It’ s important to show our appreciation for those who continue to serve as well. Operation Troop Appreciation( OTA) helps servicemembers deployed anywhere in the world, either in combat or on humanitarian missions as active duty, reservists or in the U. S. National Guard. The organization provides needed or requested items for troops while deployed.
It also assists veterans who are transitioning back into civilian life, which can be one of the most stressful times in a servicemember’ s life. OTA can be there to help ease the way and provide both practical and emotional support.

EVENTS AT ROUND HILL PARK FOR ALL AGES
On Thursday, July 9, the Round Hill Visitors Center will have fun and games for kids beginning at 7 p. m., then a film shown at dusk—“ The SpongeBob Movie: Search for Square Pants.”
In this children’ s movie, SpongeBob sets out to prove his bravery to Mr. Krabs by following the Flying Dutchman, a mysterious swashbuckling ghost pirate, to the deepest depths of the sea. Bring your blanket and snacks!
On Wednesday, July 29, the park will host Acoustics at Round Hill Park, with guest musicians Raised by Giants. The music starts at 7 p. m. at the Round Hill Visitors Center.
Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs, and food and drinks if they wish.
